Before you can use a Y cable between your Leica TPS total station and a FieldHawk radio you have to confirm the following:
Typically the Leica Y Cable that has two Lemo ends and a battery connector (part #409684) needs to also include a GK1 Lemo to 9 pin DB9 adapter (part #707525). The adapter is what allows you to connect the FieldHawk base radio to the Y cable.

Updated FieldHawk Model
We are please to announce that starting July 11, 2010, all FieldHawk models will now be shipping with an updated Bluetooth module. We now include Bluetooth 2.0 which allows for faster connection times, and better power managment for better battery life. Also dropped connections are handled much faster now for better radio performance at extreme distances.
We are also shipping our radios with a more powerful battery. Prior models shipped with a 2400 mAh battery, new models will now ship with a 2600 mAh version. |
