As you probably already know FieldHawk radios are very versatile.  Many of our customers have come up with some interesting ideas on where to mount their rover radios and I would like to share one of them with you.

On smaller job sites you can put the FieldHawk Dual-Wireless radio in your vest pocket instead of mounting it on the prism pole.  You will want to ensure that the rover radio is put in a pocket that is in front of you because the human body acts as a shield, so inserting the radio in a back pocket is not recommended.

Also try to keep the radio as vertical as possible for the best reception.  Happy Surveying!
