If you can connect your data collector to your instrument with a cable (direct connect), you can use FieldHawk. Think of FieldHawk as a "virtual" cable; it replaces your cable with a wireless link.

FieldHawk has been tested with the following instruments:

Please remember that if your instrument isn't listed above, it doesn't mean you can't use FieldHawk with your current total station. Please email us with the details about your equipment and we can let you know if your surveying equipment is compatible with any of our Wireless Surveying Radios.
Data Collection Software
FieldHawk has also been tested with several different data collection software packages including MicroSurvey FieldGenius, Carlson SurvCE, and TDS Survey Pro.
