If you can connect your data collector to your instrument with a cable (direct connect), you can use FieldHawk. Think of FieldHawk as a "virtual" cable; it replaces your cable with a wireless link.
Total Stations
FieldHawk has been tested with the following instruments:
- Leica 1100 Robotic Total Station
- Leica 1200 Robotic Total Station
- Leica Total Stations
- Trimble 5600 Robotic Total Station (Have to use either MicroSurvey FieldGenius or Carlson SurvCE.)
- Geodimeter 600 Robotic Total Station (Have to use either MicroSurvey FieldGenius or Carlson SurvCE.)
- South Total Stations
- Sokkia Total Stations
- Nikon Total Stations
- Topcon Total Stations
- Topcon Robotic Total Stations
Please remember that if your instrument isn't listed above, it doesn't mean you can't use FieldHawk with your current total station. Please email us with the details about your equipment and we can let you know if your surveying equipment is compatible with any of our Wireless Surveying Radios.
Data Collection Software
FieldHawk has also been tested with several different data collection software packages including MicroSurvey FieldGenius, Carlson SurvCE, TDS Survey Pro and Trimble Survey Controller.
