From time to time you might need to change the baud rate on your radios. This is easily done using the configuration software provided by the manufacturer of the Bluetooth transmitters used in FieldHawk. Only the FieldHawk Dual and FieldHawk Single systems can have their baud rate changed by the user using desktop software. The FieldHawk Dual-Wireless system is shipped with either 9600 or 19200 baud and can only be altered by the manufacturer (FieldHawk Radios). Do not attempt to configure the FieldHawk Dual-Wireless system yourself. Instead of typing lengthy instructions, we've included two short movie that shows you how to do it. Remember you can press pause at anytime during the movie playback so you can configure your radio at the same time. Please use the following instructions to install the Parani-SD Configuration Utility. You will need it to configure your FieldHawk radios. - Download the Parani-SD Configuration Utility to your computer.
- After the file is downloaded, run the install on your computer.
- Follow the install instructions and finish the install.
- At the end of the install you will be asked if you want to run the program. Leave this checked and press finish.
- You can now connect your FieldHawk radio to your computer's com port and start the configuration process.
Movies Test it first, before you use it! After any major configuration changes, always test the radios with your equipment before you head to the field.
